Responsibilities
The Fayette County Treasurer's Office is the County Banker, the Chief Tax Collector, and the County's Investment Officer. The Fayette County Treasurer serves on the County Budget Commission, the Board of Revision, and the Data Processing Board.
Real Estate Taxes
Due Dates
- 1st Half: February 14, 2023
- 2nd Half: June 13, 2023
Any taxes paid after the due dates will accrue a 10% Penalty and Interest
Manufactured Home Tax

- 2nd Half: August 1, 2023

Prepays
This allows you to spread your payments throughout the year, Instead of two lump-sum payments. Contact us for more information! To qualify for this program you must have current taxes paid and your tax bill is not being sent to a mortgage company.
Delinquent Real Estate Tax Contracts

Delinquent Property Taxes
Delinquent taxpayers will be referred to the county prosecutor for foreclosure proceedings to collect delinquent taxes.
