- Beginning with the "Annual Tornado/flood Safety Awareness
Week" in March through October, all (out-door warning sirens and in-door
weather monitors) systems will be tested on the 4th Friday at 12 noon. for
operational concerns, (unless threaten conditions)
- Tests for the malls will be conducted between 08:30 - 08:45 A.M.
- After the test is performed, locations having indoor monitors must
contact the Fayette County Sheriff department or the Washington Fire
Department acknowledging the test. A copy of the results will be sent to the
Fayette County Emergency Management Agency Director for review and filing.
- The responsibility for maintaining indoor monitors shall be born
by the agency having use of the units, (school, business, nursing homes, etc.)
