PROCEDURES FOR TESTING FAYETTE COUNTY'S WEATHER SYSTEM

Beginning with the "Annual Tornado/flood Safety Awareness Week" in March through October, all (out-door warning sirens and in-door weather monitors) systems will be tested on the 4th Friday at 12 noon. for operational concerns, (unless threaten conditions)
Tests for the malls will be conducted between 08:30 - 08:45 A.M.
After the test is performed, locations having indoor monitors must contact the Fayette County Sheriff department or the Washington  Fire Department acknowledging the test. A copy of the results will be sent to the Fayette County Emergency Management Agency Director for review and filing.
The responsibility for maintaining indoor monitors shall be born by the agency having use of the units, (school, business, nursing homes, etc.)
